Seneca Creek Software LLC (“we”, “us”) is a small software company located in Maryland. This policy explains what information our Android apps (including Beat the Ball, Times Blitz, A Basic Calculator, Word Search Insanity, Plus Tip, Liquid Calculator, Fractional Calculator, Dimensional Calculator, Discount Calculator, Loan Calculator, Time Calculator, Payoff Calculator, Plus Tax and Simple Tip Calculator) and this website collect, and how it is used.

Information we collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or payment information, and we do not sell personal information.

The calculations you enter into our calculator apps stay on your device. We do not receive them.

Online leaderboards (Word Search Insanity, Beat the Ball and Times Blitz)

If you choose to take part in an online leaderboard, the app sends our server:

• a random install ID generated by the app (not tied to your Google account or device identifiers),
• the nickname you choose (up to 16 characters), which is shown publicly on the leaderboard, and
• your scores (game mode, word list, completion time, and the date/time of the score).

We use this only to run the leaderboards, prevent cheating and abuse (including rate limiting and filtering offensive nicknames), and show rankings. Please don't use your real name or personal information as a nickname. Data is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored on our web host. The server may keep standard logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operations.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Google AdMob is the only third-party service used in our apps.

Our free apps show ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, and ad interactions. Ads may be personalized depending on your settings and region. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads). Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), the app will ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

Children

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to a leaderboard, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and deletion

Leaderboard nicknames and scores are kept while the leaderboard runs. To have your leaderboard data deleted, email us with your nickname and the app name and we will remove it. Uninstalling an app removes the data stored on your device.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or contact forms. The server may keep standard logs.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
